Setting up Amazon Alexa

In this article, you will learn how to connect your Amazon Echo with everHome and conveniently control your devices and scenes using voice commands.

To make your Amazon Echo work with everHome, you need:

• Your Amazon account (email address and password),
• Your everHome account,
• As well as an everHome CloudBox (Important: The previous Premium Package is no longer required.)

Step 1: Enable the everHome Skill in the Alexa app

• Open the Alexa app on your smartphone.
• Select “More” in the navigation bar.
• Go to “Skills & Games.”
• Search for “everHome” and enable the Skill.
• Log in with your everHome account.

Step 2: Perform device search

• Ask Alexa to search for your devices – for example, with the voice command:
  • “Alexa, search for my smart devices.”
• Alexa will now start the search and automatically add your everHome devices.
