I have unlocked my meter using the PIN, but I still can’t see any consumption figures

This article explains how to fully unlock your electricity meter – if you’ve already entered your meter operator’s PIN into your meter but still can’t see live consumption data in the everHome app, you’ve come to the right place!

With most meters, it is not enough simply to enter the meter operator’s PIN to activate the meter by pressing a button or using a torch signal.
Almost all meters require advanced activation. This is done by setting the INF option on the meter itself to ON.

The INF option should not be confused with the ‘Info Display’ on your meter’s screen!

Depending on the meter model, the INF option is activated in different ways. This is often done using a light signal from a torch.
You can find detailed instructions on this in your electricity meter’s user manual. If you do not have this to hand, please feel free to contact our support team.

There are also a few meter models that require further settings. So, if you have set the INF option to ON and your live consumption is still not being displayed, please also feel free to contact our support team. Please let our colleagues know exactly which meter model you are using; this makes it much easier for us to help.

After entering the PIN on the meter, in most cases you will also need to set the INF option on the meter to ON.

  • If live consumption data is still not visible, please contact the support team.
    • Please have the model number of your electricity meter to hand; this will make the support team’s job much easier.
