Surplus Charging of Electric Vehicles with OCPP-Enabled Wallbox

This article deals with the function of surplus charging in combination with an OCPP-enabled wallbox.
If you operate a PV system, it is certainly interesting to use the generated electricity as much as possible yourself. everHome now makes this possible in a further step.
In addition to the PV system, an OCPP-enabled wallbox is also required.
This is integrated into everHome. Afterwards, it must be activated for surplus charging:
- Click on the intelligence icon (brain) in the Electricity tab.
- Press the + and select your wallbox.
From now on, when you start the charging process in everHome, it will be charged intelligently.
everHome first checks how much power the electric vehicle can be charged with. If the minimum charging power is exceeded as surplus, the charging process begins with the current PV surplus.
