Display Firmware Version and Updates
This article explains how you can view the currently installed firmware version of your devices and how firmware updates are provided at everHome.
Check Firmware Version:
EcoTracker
- Open the everHome app and go to Devices.
- Select your EcoTracker.
- Tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Scroll down – the installed firmware version is displayed there.
CloudBox
- Open the everHome app.
- Tap the presence icon at the top right.
- Select the desired CloudBox.
- The firmware version is displayed directly.
Firmware Updates
Firmware updates cannot be manually initiated via the app or the web portal.
Instead, updates are distributed automatically through our servers. This happens gradually in so-called waves. This approach ensures that not all devices are affected simultaneously in case of potential issues.
This allows us to respond early and ensure the stability and security of the devices.
In short:
- The currently installed version can be viewed at any time in the everHome app.
- Firmware updates are distributed automatically and in waves; manual updates are not possible.
